authority of the Legislative Council and

of the Secretary of State is still required

for the excesses shown in the list enclosed

in paragraph 3 of my report, and I do not

admit the exclusion of the $756.78` for

"Wireless Station (Lorry)", as proposed in

paragraph 4 of the Governor's despatch, as

this amount was charged to Head 33 in the

accounts for the year 1927.
